1811 Maryland Farm Building Plans

 

View and print measured drawings of more than a dozen early 19th century farm outbuildings.

 

 

Most of the buildings in the Hayfields Farm complex were built by Nicholas Merriman Bosley in 1811, although some predate those. A few of the buildings were added or modified as late as the 1870s. Included in the set of drawings, by the Historic American Buildings Survey, are a stone barn and barnyard buildings, a brick horse barn, a stone coachman's house, a carriage house, a meat house, a spring house, an ice house, a wagon shed and granary, a brick privy and more.

Hayfields Farm Building Plan Set  These plans will print on 8 1/2x11 paper on most computer printers. Ledger and larger size prints can also be produced from the same file by using a large format printer. If you don't have one of those, a copy shop should be able to provide you with prints.
