1886 Delaware Carriage Barn Plans

This multi-purpose barn included stables, shelters for carriages and wagons, a tack room, a corn crib and a hay loft. It was an all-in-one outbuilding for the Brady family home.

 

Built at the height of the Victorian era, this barn is an example of Carpenter Gothic design. The builders made a fairly standard vernacular wagon barn a little more fashionable with the addition of a steep-roof front gable and some gingerbread trim.

Greenlawn Carriage Barn  These plans will print on 8 1/2x11 paper on most computer printers. Ledger and larger size prints can also be produced from the same file by using a large format printer. If you don't have one of those, a copy shop should be able to provide you with prints.
