The project is planned to be easy for do-it-yourself builders. As an example, the little barn's gable roof is designed to be built with trusses that are made of standard 2×4 lumber with plywood gusset plates at the corners. That means that you can do most of the construction of the roof while working on the ground, not while teetering up on a ladder.
