15'x30' Cabin  This pretty design has one big all-purpose room and a small kitchen and half bath. There's also a big fireplace and a front porch.

Bunk House Cabin  Just 14'x23' this little cabin has a kitchen and an all-purpose room with built-in bunk beds.

The Chesterfield Cabin  This attractive Southern cabin design has front and back porches. The main floor has an open Living/Dining/Kitchen area with a vaulted ceiling. It also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms. There's another bedroom and bath in a Loft area.

About These Cooperative Extension Plans:  These plans were developed over many years by engineers at U.S. Land Grant universities. They are generally older plans that need to be revised for today's construction methods, codes and standards. They provide design ideas and conceptual information for planning purposes. The plans were prepared through the USDA Cooperative Farm Buildings Plan Exchange.

Buildings must resist various forces from snow, wind, earthquake and use. They also must adhere to local building and zoning codes. A local building inspector, engineer, building supplier, or building contractor can help you determine what is a safe and legal building for your area.
